Main Curriculum

Earth Science
Winter is full of wonders! Have you ever thought of how many shapes can a snowflake have? Or how Northern Light are formed? In this Earth science study students will learn about natural phenomenons of the Polar regions. Students will design and build their own igloo, and discover what kind of animals and people live in the Arctic and Antarctic Circles.

In our science program, students will investigate the winter wonders around them through hands-on learning activities. Daily STEM experiments will challenge students to think critically, make predictions, and problem-solve while exploring Winter themed Earth Science-related topics. This course will help students draw connections to their daily lives while collaborating with classmates.

Students will be excited to reenact or discuss these easy experiments at home!

Art Program
In our art program, children will have fun with different Winter-themed arts and crafts every day. They will examine and discuss artwork, participate in fun interactive games and quizzes, and practice various techniques.

In this week’s art course, students will learn to express themselves and their creativity while visualizing what they learned during the day about Winter and the Polar regions. They will make many different types of fun arts and crafts, such as glittery sensory bottles, northern lights art with tissue paper, cute penguin plushies and they will even have a try at stained glass!

Students will finish the term by applying their new knowledge and creating their own custom artwork
