Main Program
Our international school main program welcomes children on weekdays from 9:00 to 14:30, with extended care from 8:00 to 9:00 and 14:30 to 18:00.

Global Step Academy After School gives the unique opportunity to experience the curriculum of a real international school. We nurture students to become well-rounded individuals through the improvement of intellectual, creative, personal, social, and physical abilities.

Elementary After School
They say it takes over 2000 hours to learn English. To master English communication and acquire sound international awareness, it’s important to strengthen the four skills of “listening” “speaking” “reading” and “writing” for more than two hours, two times a week.

COGNIA Accredited School
Global Step Academy is the first school group and organization headquartered in Japan to earn Cognia® Systems Accreditation. Cognia is a nonprofit organization that recognizes schools and districts across the globe that meet rigorous standards focused on productive learning environments, equitable resource allocation, and effective leadership.
To earn Cognia Systems Accreditation, a school district must submit to internal and external review. Earning accreditation from the Cognia Global Accreditation Commission means that the school system meets Cognia Performance Standards and maintains a commitment to continuous improvement.
Our Facilities
GSAIS Tachikawa comprises two buildings that total over 450 square meters. The main campus includes a multi-purpose room for special activities, a gymnasium, and an outdoor playground. All our facilities are established in accordance with the standards issued by the metropolitan government for childcare facilities.
